SerDes Products
The VS77X / VS77X long-reach serializer & deserializer are the first chipset to implement the Automotive SerDes Alliance (ASA) standard. It is designed to support asymmetric high-speed data links in a point-to-point topology while providing high-speed unidirectional data and bidirectional control data. These chipsets are robust against impulsive noise, equipped with high precision equalizers supporting up to 40dB insertion loss. It also provides Forward Error Correction (FEC) capabilities, eliminating the need for re-transmissions which is crucial for safety-critical automotive applications. This interoperable SerDes solution will provide automotive OEMs and its suppliers with high-speed link solutions for their growing number of sensors (Cameras, Radars, Lidars) and displays that enable automotive applications such as Advanced Driver Assistant Systems (ADAS), In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI), and ultimately, autonomous vehicles.

Ethernet Products
The VS731 is an Ethernet transceiver that implements the Ethernet physical layer (PHY) functions of 10BASE-T1S, also called 10SPE (10Mbps Single Pair Ethernet), standard defined by IEEE 802.3cg.
10BASE-T1S is a new 10Mbps Single Pair Ethernet physical layer network technology designed for automotive and industrial applications. The key objective of 10BASE-T1S is to provide a low-cost, collision-free, deterministic Ethernet-based transmission over both multi-drop and point-to-point networks.
The VS731 offers a standard Ethernet connection using a multi-drop on the same bus without a central switch. Also, VS731 can add popular CAN-based ECUs on the same bus for future zonal architecture where Ethernet and CAN EUCs will be present in each zone.
The architecture based upon VS731 will pave a seamless and efficient way for all Ethernet networks by allowing car OEMs and Tier 1 companies to introduce Ethernet ECUs to future vehicles.
